How telehealth prescribing works at EpixNXT

From intake questionnaire to a pharmacy shipment at your door — the four steps, who reviews what, and what can slow an order down.

Step 1 — Intake

You complete a secure medical questionnaire covering your history, current medications, allergies, and goals. This takes most patients under ten minutes.

Step 2 — Physician review

A US-licensed provider reviews your intake. They may approve a protocol, request more information, or decline if a medication is not appropriate for you. Being declined is a safety outcome, not a failure.

Step 3 — Pharmacy compounding

Approved prescriptions are sent to a licensed US 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy, which prepares your medication for your specific prescription.

Step 4 — Delivery and follow-up

Orders ship discreetly, typically arriving in three to five business days, cold-chain where required. You can message the care team for dose questions or adjustments at any point in your protocol.

What slows orders down

The most common delays are incomplete intake answers, a mismatch between your shipping address and prescribing state, and pharmacy backorders on a specific strength. Answering the intake fully up front avoids most of them.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are prepared by licensed US pharmacies for an individual patient with a valid prescription. Individual results vary. Nothing here is medical advice.
